Beyond Essential Systems

Beyond Essential Systems (BES) is seeking a Laboratory Officer to support the implementation and ongoing use of BES systems SENAITE, a Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS), and Tamanu, an electronic health record, in Tuvalu. This is a full-time, 12-month fixed-term contract based in Funafuti, Tuvalu. The role focuses on supporting laboratory users, system configuration, data entry, troubleshooting, training, and ensuring SENAITE and Tamanu are effectively embedded into routine laboratory workflows. The position will work closely with laboratory staff, hospital staff and the BES technical team to ensure smooth operation of BES systems and high-quality laboratory data management.

We are looking for a Finance Manager to join us for a 12-month contract (with potential for extension) working part time (22.8 hour/week or 0.6 FTE) with flexible working arrangements. This role will report into the Head of Operations and be in charge of financial management, payroll and all BES project reporting requirements.
